Wood County has reported 149 new COVID cases, two deaths, and four new hospitalizations since Thursday, according to today’s report from the Wood County Health Department.
That brings the total for the county to 17,771 cases, 259 deaths, and 809 hospitalizations from COVID.
Wood County is seeing an average of 30 new COVID cases each day, and is now at 216 COVID cases per 100,000 residents, keeping the county in the high transmission range.
During the last two weeks, the 393 new COVID cases in the county broken down into ZIP Code areas show that all areas of the county are affected. The highest number of cases in the last two weeks were reported in Perrysburg, 148; Bowling Green, 75; Walbridge, 34; Pemberville, 26; North Baltimore, 19; Weston, 18; Rossford, 13; and Northwood, 12.
