Wood County has reported 309 new COVID cases, four deaths and 14 more hospitalizations since Thursday, according to today’s report from the Wood County Health Department.
That brings the total for the county to 19,152 cases, 273 deaths, and 845 hospitalizations from COVID.
Wood County is seeing an average of 62 new COVID cases each day, and is now at 408 COVID cases per 100,000 residents, keeping the county in the high transmission range.
During the last two weeks, the 801 new COVID cases in the county broken down into ZIP Code areas show that all areas of the county are affected. The highest number of cases in the last two weeks were reported in Perrysburg, 271; Bowling Green, 207; Northwood, 56; Walbridge, 32; Rossford, 23; Pemberville, 23; North Baltimore, 22; Millbury, 22; Weston, 17; Fostoria, 14; Wayne, 13; Luckey, 13; and Grand Rapids, 11.
