Wood County reports 446 new COVID cases, 3 deaths, 24 hospitalizations

Wood County has reported 446 new COVID cases, three more deaths and 24 more hospitalizations since Wednesday, according to today’s report from the Wood County Health Department.

That brings the total for the county to 19,618 cases, 279 deaths, and 873 hospitalizations from COVID.

Wood County is seeing an average of 64 new COVID cases each day, and is now at 368 COVID cases per 100,000 residents, keeping the county in the high transmission range.

During the last two weeks, the 716 new COVID cases in the county broken down into ZIP Code areas show that all areas of the county are affected. The highest number of cases in the last two weeks were reported in Perrysburg, 233; Bowling Green, 189; Northwood, 34; Walbridge, 31; Rossford, 28; North Baltimore, 27; Weston, 26; Millbury, 17; Luckey, 16; Bradner, 16; Wayne, 14; Pemberville, 11; Fostoria, 10; and Portage. 10.
