Wood County reports 757 new COVID cases, 18 hospitalizations since Thursday

Wood County has reported 757 new COVID cases and 18 more hospitalizations since Thursday, according to today’s report from the Wood County Health Department.

That brings the total for the county to 23,327 cases, 301 deaths, and 1,004 hospitalizations from COVID.

Wood County is seeing an average of 151 new COVID cases each day, and is now at 657 COVID cases per 100,000 residents, keeping the county in the high transmission range.

During the last two weeks, the 1,528 new COVID cases in the county broken down into ZIP Code areas show that all areas of the county are affected. The highest number of cases in the last two weeks were reported in Perrysburg, 606; Bowling Green, 335; Northwood, 114; Rossford, 82; Walbridge, 57; North Baltimore, 53; Millbury, 50; Pemberville, 33; Luckey, 25; Weston, 24; Fostoria, 22; Wayne, 17; Rudolph, 16; Risingsun, 15; Grand Rapids, 13; Bradner, 13; and Portage, 10.
