Wood County has reported 943 new COVID cases, nine more deaths, and 26 more hospitalizations since Monday, according to today’s report from the Wood County Health Department. That brings the total for the county to 25,792 cases, 315 deaths, and 1,063 hospitalizations from COVID.
Wood County is seeing an average of 236 new COVID cases each day, and is now at 1,303 COVID cases per 100,000 residents, keeping the county in the high transmission range.
During the last two weeks, the 2,316 new COVID cases in the county broken down into ZIP Code areas show that all areas of the county are affected. The highest number of cases in the last two weeks were reported in Perrysburg, 858; Bowling Green, 533; Northwood, 164; Rossford, 122; Walbridge, 109; Millbury, 62; North Baltimore, 58; Pemberville, 49; Grand Rapids, 41; Luckey, 39; Wayne, 38; Fostoria, 37; Weston, 34; Bradner, 25; Haskins, 24; Cygnet, 18; Milton Center, 17; Bloomdale, 15; BGSU, 14; Portage, 13; Rudolph, 12; Tontogany, 11; and Risingsun, 11.
