Wood County has reported 274 new COVID cases, two new deaths, and 16 new hospitalizations since Thursday, according to today’s report from the Wood County Health Department.
That brings the total for the county to 14,955 cases, 236 deaths, and 711 hospitalizations from COVID. As of this morning, Wood County Hospital had five patients with COVID.
Wood County is now at 379.16 COVID cases per 100,000 residents, keeping the county in the high transmission range.
During the last two weeks, the 682 COVID cases in the county broken down into ZIP Code areas show that all areas of the county are affected. The highest number of cases in the last two weeks were reported in Bowling Green, 210; Perrysburg, 164; North Baltimore, 40; Northwood, 39; Walbridge, 36; BGSU campus, 31; and Rossford, 27.
