The Wood County Sheriff’s Office has been awarded for its photo submitted in the Light Ohio Blue 2022 First Responder Photo Challenge.
The 2022 Light Ohio Blue First Responder Challenge ran from Sept. 11-30, with just under 50,000 votes cast. The timeframe of the contest honors all first responders across the state and the nation who never paused nor faltered on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001.
All award winners were recognized today at Hilliard’s First Responder Park at 11 a.m.
The Light Ohio Blue campaign was designed to show and generate support for law enforcement personnel who protect communities throughout the state.
