Wood County Sheriff’s Office to hold Citizens Police Academy

The Wood County Sheriff’s Office will be holding a Citizens Police Academy on Thursday evenings, Sept. 14 through Nov. 16. Classes will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. at the sheriff’s office.

Participants will learn about the operations of the Wood County Sheriff’s Office and the duties of the office of the sheriff.

Class size is limited, so anyone interested is encouraged to register soon.
