Work Leads to Independence was recently notified that they achieved the maximum allowable accreditation (three years) from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

CARF International is an independent, nonprofit organization focused on advancing the quality of services to individuals with disabilities. CARF International provides accreditation services worldwide at the request of health and human service providers. Through this accreditation, CARF assists service providers in improving the quality of their services, demonstrating value, and meeting internationally recognized organizational and program standards.

The accreditation process applies sets of standards to service areas and business practices during an on-site survey. Accreditation, however, is an ongoing process, signaling to the public that a service provider is committed to continuously improving services, encouraging feedback, and serving the community. Accreditation also demonstrates a provider’s commitment to enhance its performance, manage its risk, and distinguish its service delivery.

This accreditation will extend through Dec. 31, 2020. This achievement is an indication of Work Leads to Independence dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served.
