Bowling Green Police responded to an assault in the downtown area on Sunday (July 6) around 2:14 a.m.
An officer was flagged down by a male in the 100 block of East Court Street, who said a man followed him out of a bar and elbowed him in the face. A warrant was issued for the arrest of Anjelito Almaguer, 24, of Grand Rapids.
