BG Police arrest allegedly intoxicated man passed out in street

Bowling Green Police arrested a man found passed out in the roadway Tuesday (July 22) around 1 a.m., in the 100 block of Lehman Avenue.

A motorist notified a police officer of the unconscious man, and police found Devin Brownlee, 32, of Bowling Green, unconscious in the street, with his head on the curb.

Brownlee reportedly had slurred speech, told police he was going to his mom’s house, but was unable to tell officers what street he was on.

According to the police report, Brownlee resisted being searched by officers, and refused to walk to the cruiser. As he was being carried to the cruiser, he reportedly attempted to kick the officers.

Brownlee was arrested for disorderly conduct/intoxication, inability to care for himself, and resisting arrest. He was taken to Wood County Jail.
