As of today’s (Aug. 6) deadline with the Wood County Board of Elections, several city, school board and tax issues were filed to appear on the Nov. 4 General Election ballot. Following are the people and issues to be on Bowling Green ballots.
Bowling Green City
- Additional 0.15% income tax, for a continuing period, to provide funds for certain costs of the city’s department of safety and the payment of securities.
Bowling Green City School District
Board of Education (two to be elected)
- Stephen Bateson, 7910 Wingston Road, Rudolph.
- Norman Geer, 917 Clark St., Bowling Green.
- Ryan Myers, 1538 Muirfield Drive, Bowling Green.
Bowling Green City Council
Council-at-large (two to be elected)
- Katelyn Elliott, Democrat, 219 Crim St.
- Mark Hollenbaugh, Democrat, 315 Parkview Drive, Lot 92.
- Gregory Robinette, Republican, 1501 Cardinal Road.
First Ward Council (one to be elected)
- Jordan Musgrave, Democrat, 315 Parkview Drive, Lot 67.
Second Ward Council (one to be elected)
- Joel O’Dorisio, Democrat, 1001 Napoleon Road.
Third Ward Council (one to be elected)
- Kathleen Dennis, Democrat, 402 Buttonwood Ave.
Fourth Ward Council (one to be elected)
- Audrey Baker, Democrat, 128 W. Wooster St.
- William Herald, Republican, 1030 Conneaut Ave.
Bowling Green Municipal Court
Judge of Municipal Court (one to be elected)
- Alyssa Blackburn, Republican, Perrysburg.
Throughout Wood County, several tax issues will appear on the ballot. They include:
- Two school district issues, for Eastwood and Perrysburg.
- Nine fire levies.
- Two police levies.
- Seven road repair levies.
- Eight levies for current expenses.
- One garbage levy.
- One park levy.
- One swimming pool levy.
