OVI checkpoint in Perrysburg results in arrest of two motorists for impaired driving

The Ohio State Highway Patrol, in conjunction with the Perrysburg Police Department and the Wood County Sheriff’s Office, conducted an OVI checkpoint Friday (Aug. 15) on Front Street in Perrysburg.

A total of 606 vehicles were checked between 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. In that time, there were two vehicles that were diverted. Both drivers were arrested for impaired driving.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol reminds motorists to call #677 if they suspect an impaired driver.
