‘Spooks & Spokes’ slow roll bike ride canceled due to weather forecast

From CITY OF BOWLING GREEN

The City of Bowling Green’s Bicycle Safety Commission has canceled the “Spooks & Spokes” slow roll bike ride, originally scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 19, at 2 p.m., due to the forecast of inclement weather.

The event, planned as the final ride of the season with a Halloween theme, was set to feature local lore and stops at some of Bowling Green’s most allegedly haunted locations. However, participant safety remains the top priority, and unfavorable weather conditions are expected to create unsafe riding circumstances.

The Bicycle Safety Commission extends its appreciation to all community members who participated in the 2025 slow roll rides and looks forward to resuming the series next season.
