Bowling Green Police responded to two separate assaults over the weekend in the downtown area.
The first occurred Saturday (11/1) shortly after midnight, inside a bar in the 100 block of North Main Street. Police arrived to assist BGFD paramedics helping a female who was unconscious on the sidewalk following a fight inside the bar.
According to the police report, the medics tried to render care, but once the woman regained consciousness, she refused treatment and ran from the emergency responders.
Shortly after, a passerby alerted police that the woman had again lost consciousness in a nearby alley. She then consented to treatment, but refused transport by the medics.
Later Saturday evening, the woman came to the police station to advise that she had received treatment at a hospital and was found to have a concussion.
Police were attempting to find video footage of the assault.
Then on Sunday (11/2), around 2 a.m., police were called to a bar in the 300 block of East Wooster Street. A bouncer at the bar had reportedly been assaulted by three men as he tried to break up a fight.
Video inside the bar reportedly showed Brennan Ridley, 20, of Chester, Virginia, and Caleb Goodloe, 19, of St. Petersburg, Florida, pushing and striking the bouncer multiple times. Video also reportedly showed Leone Kemp, 21, Bowling Green, putting the bouncer in a chokehold.
The three men were charged with assault and taken to Wood County Jail.
