Dog shelter resident, Shadow, looks for new energetic friends to play with

From WOOD COUNTY DOG SHELTER

Everyone is invited to meet Shadow. She is an energetic young girl that found herself at the dog shelter after being picked up as a stray. Shadow is a 1-year-old pit bull-husky mix that would love an active home that can handle her exercise needs.

Shadow loves to play with other dogs, loves to go for long walks or runs, and loves to play ball. For people who are looking for help to stay active during the colder months, she will be great motivation. Shadow is fully vaccinated, heartworm negative, and spayed. She is ready for her forever home.

The adoption fee for all shelter dogs is $89, which includes a $14 Wood County dog license, and $75 vet voucher toward spay/neuter and vaccines, if needed.

The hours for the shelter are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The shelter is closed on Sundays. The Wood County Dog Shelter is located at 1912 E. Gypsy Lane Road, Bowling Green, and can be reached by calling 419-354-9242.
