Donna was a 1948 graduate of Jackson Township High School where she was the class president. She served as the mayor of Hoytville for 13 years and many terms on village council working to improve the playground, baseball diamond, and personally planted many trees for the beautification of her village. She was also a member of the Wood County Park District, a former Pythian Sister, and the Secretary of the Rolling Meadows Condo Association, McComb. Donna also enjoyed sewing and was an incredibly good seamstress. She also found pleasure in cooking, baking, and tending her garden. She and Donnie enjoyed many winters in Eustis, Florida and took great pride in their fruit trees. Most of all, she loved her family and her greatest joy came from attending her grandchildren’s and great-grandchildren’s events, rarely missing anything.
