I have known Paul Dobson in just about every professional capacity.
Paul and I were law school students together in the same class at the University of Toledo College of Law. While I established a private law practice in Wood County, Paul was working as an assistant Wood County prosecutor. When I became a legislator, Paul and I worked together on bills that eventually became laws, such as assisting and protecting people overcoming drug addiction. When I had the misfortune of being a victim of crime in a theft from my family’s business, Paul and his team listened to me and supported my family, finding a fair and just result.
In every capacity in which I’ve worked with Paul, his knowledge and experience have engaged with his compassion and commitment to find a successful conclusion.
I know what it means to be a victim of crime. I know what it means to depend on the judicial system to bring justice and reparation.
I also know what it means to be an attorney standing before the court. When I think of the kind of judge I want to handle my case, I want a judge with real trial experience, with a history of leadership, and with a commitment to the job and to the people that he serves. Paul Dobson is all of those things.
With 31 years of experience as a trial attorney, over 25 years protecting the citizens of Wood County as a prosecutor, and 17 years as the elected Wood County prosecuting attorney, serving his community and finding justice for the people of Wood County has defined his legal career.
Because experience, commitment, and fairness matter to me, I urge my Wood County friends and neighbors to support Paul Dobson in his bid for judge of the Wood County Court of Common Pleas.
