A tire collection for residents of Wood County will be held Sept. 30, from 9 a.m. to noon, in the Wood County Fair parking lot off Poe Road in Bowling Green.
Proof of residency is required for those dropping off tires. No businesses are allowed, just residents. There will be a limit per vehicle of 10 passenger and light truck tires only.

The tire collection is sponsored by the Wood County Solid Waste Management District, Wood Soil & Water Conservation District, and Wood County Health District. The collection is made possible through a grant from the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency.
