BG school artists exhibit work in first Imaginarium show ‘Fairy Tales, Fables, and Stories… Oh My!’

BG Schools art program presents its first First Imaginarium exhibit “Fairy Tales, Fables, and Stories… Oh My!” opening Friday, Dec. 20 in the Bowling Green Arts Council’s Art Space in the rear of Coyote Beads, 178 S. Main St. in downtown Bowling Green.

More than 80 pieces contributed by students of the district’s eight art teachers are on displayed.

The show continues through Jan. 15. Gallery hours are Tuesday-Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

A closing reception will be held Jan. 15  5-6:30 p.m.

Each teacher used the theme “Fairy Tales, Fables and Stories…Oh My!”, as inspiration for their students.  The show will be in the Art Space behind Coyote Beads and opens this Friday.  K-12 students and a variety of media will be on display.

The Bowling Green Arts Council is sponsoring the show.
