Aurelia M. Torres, 18, of Portage, Ohio, passed away alongside her mother Thursday September 2, 2021 due to injuries sustained in a car accident. She was born April 22, 2003 in Maumee, Ohio to Ryan and Magdalena “Maggie” Torres.
Aurelia was currently a senior at Bowling Green High School where she excelled as a student, enjoyed Math and played volleyball. Aurelia valued and cherished each and every one of her friendships. She was responsible and caring and was currently enjoying her employment at McDonalds in Bowling Green.
“Daddy’s Princess”, Aurelia had a heart of gold- just like her mother. Her ability to make everyone feel welcome was unlike any other. She was always welcoming others with giving and open arms. She adored her two younger brothers and always cared for them like a second mom. She enjoyed spending time exercising, collecting Wonder Woman memorabilia and loved being in the kitchen cooking and baking. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her family and friends.
Aurelia is survived by her father Ryan Torres of Portage, Ohio, sister Anessa Boney of Perrysburg, Ohio, brothers Ryan Torres Jr. and Crisencio Torres both of Portage, Ohio, her grandmother Patricia (Angel) Clemente of San Antonio, Texas and adored nephew & godson Grayson. She is also survived by her aunts and uncles Victor Sanchez, Angelo Sanchez, Susie Torrez, Margie Sanchez, Elizabeth Cardenas, Rosalee Kuerbitz, Tina Torres, Lisa Comstock, Maryellen Schwanberger and Rita McKenzie, cousin Jonny Mckenzie Gomez and numerous cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother Magdalena Torres, grandfather Richard Torres and uncles Tomas Sanchez and Richard Torres Jr.
A Celebration of Aurelia and Maggie’s life will be held on Monday September 13, 2021 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Veteran’s Building at the Bowling Green City Park, 2294 Legion Dr. Bowling Green, Ohio 43402. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
