Bowling Green High School Bobcat Marching Band traveled to Walt Disney World for spring break.
On the way to Florida, the band stopped for a clinic with, well-known composer and professor at Lee University. He conducted and coached the students in a private session at Lee University in Tennessee.
Another of their professional development activities was a 2.5 hour Disney Soundstage Workshop, where they were coached by a Disney Teaching Artist and had the chance to record a soundtrack over a film snippet.
The band also participated in the Superstar Pre-Parade, part of Universal Orlando’s STARS performance program, and also marched in a parade at Universal Studios.
While in Florida, they got to visit Disney, Epcot, Universal, Hollywood, Kennedy Space Center, and Cocoa Beach.
