Millbury driver dies in crash on 795

A Millbury woman died earlier today (Aug. 15) when her vehicle struck the rear of a commercial vehicle in Perrysburg Township.

The Bowling Green Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to the call at 12:09 p.m. Aug. 15.

They reported that 42-year-old Lisa Carlin of Millbury operating a 2008 Dodge Grand Caravan eastbound on State Route 795 today August 15 shortly after noon.

Jackson D. Dusseau, 20,  of Maumee was operating a 2014

International commercial tractor/trailer outfit eastbound on State Route 795 and was stopped at the red traffic light at Glenwood Road. 

Carlin failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead and struck the rear of the commercial trailer. The front seat passenger

of the International truck was 31-year-old Justin P. Jeko of Toledo.

Dusseau and Jeko were transported to Mercy Health-St. Charles Hospital for minor injuries. 

Carlin was transported to Mercy Health-St. Vincent Medical Center where she was pronounced deceased.

All three individuals involved were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. 

The crash is still under investigation at this time.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol was assisted at the scene by Perrysburg Township Police Department, Perrysburg Township Fire and EMS, Rossford Police Department, Rossford Fire, ODOT, Wright Tire and Auto and Pat and Son Towing.
