From WOOD COUNTY SAFE COMMUNITIES
The community is invited to Wood County Safe Communities’ car seat checkup event on Saturday, Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. The checkup will take place at Bowling Green Fire Division Station 2, 1060 Pearl St.
The event will provide attendees the opportunity to learn how to install and use car seats and booster seats and when it is time for a seat change. There will be people available to answer additional questions about car seats and booster seats.
For those in need of a car seat, a limited number of low-cost or free car seats and booster seats will be available for qualifying families.
Walk-ins are welcome, or appointments can be scheduled by calling Wood County Hospital’s OB Department at 419-354-8932.
