Richard “Dick” Drury, age 74, of Bowling Green, OH passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 9, 2016 at Bridge Hospice Care Center, Bowling Green. He was born on December 16, 1941 in Bowling Green to Richard and Imogene (Siders) Drury. Dick married Susan Hanely in Bowling Green and she preceded him on June 3, 2012. For over 50 years he worked at the Sentinel Tribune in Bowling Green.
Dick is survived by his son: Shad (Jenn) Drury of Cygnet, grandchildren: Zachary (Kaly) Drury of Columbus, Devon Spieker and Destynee Spieker both of Elon, NC, Dante Spieker of Cygnet, great-grandchildren: Zachary Drury Jr and Gavin Drury both of Columbus, sisters: Mary Ann (Don) Rife of Bowling Green, Kathi (Pete) Goodwin of Indianapolis, IN, Carol Drury of Bowling Green, nephews: Jeremy Drury of Rossford, Patrick Goodwin, PJ Goodwin and Kyle Goodwin all of IN and niece: Erika Goodwin of IN. He was preceded in death by his parents: Richard and Imogene Drury, ex-wife: Susan, son: Scott Drury and brother: Robert “Bob” Drury.
A Celebration of Life gathering for Dick and Sue will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 5-9 PM at the Civic Center, Rudolph, OH. Arrangements are being handled by the Marsh Funeral Home, Pemberville, OH. Considerations for memorial contributions are to the charity of the donor’s choice.
