Bowling Green is getting its very own hot pilates and sculpting studio, Studio Inferno, located at 1036 N. Main St.
The studio is owned and operated by Monica Socha, Jovana Cvjetkovic and Emily Horney, who also serve as the primary instructors. They are currently training additional staff to expand class offerings.
The trio met at Hot Room Toledo, another sculpting and hot pilates studio.
“It’s just a little business adventure we decided to embark on,” Socha said.
Socha explained the technical set up of the studio room which can host up to 50 people per class. The ceiling features infrared heaters that heat objects in the room directly rather than blowing hot air.
“Typically, we would keep this room at 90 degrees. When we have classes, we bump it up closer to 95 to 100 degrees with 40% humidity,” she said.

With approximately 50 people working out in a confined space, cleanliness is a priority.
“We have all non-touch, disinfectant for everything and everything is hands free automated,” Socha said.
Class times will be adjusted based on demand.
“We’re trying to accommodate our clients, so if we see that no one’s showing up at 5:30 a.m., but a lot at 6:30 a.m., we’ll push classes back a little bit.”
The studio has changing rooms and cooling lavender towels for after class, but attendees are encouraged to bring their own mat, a towel and plenty of water.
“It’s super important to say hydrated not only during class, but to hydrate before and after,” she said. “It’s better to come hydrated.”
Studio Inferno hosted an open house last weekend, when guests were invited to tour the space, view membership packages or purchase merchandise.
Membership options and class times are available on Instagram (@studio_inferno_bg) or Facebook. The class schedule can also be viewed at HelloWalla – Studio Inferno BG.
Participants under the age of 18 must have a waiver signed by a legal guardian.
