From THE COCOON
The community is invited to learn how to help keep children and other members of the community safe from interpersonal violence through bystander intervention training presented by Piper Nelson, prevention educator at The Cocoon.
The event will take place on Tuesday, June 30, at 1 p.m. at Wood County Educational Service Center, 1867 N. Research Drive, Bowling Green.
The training is in partnership with the Wood County Health Department’s “Growing Together: A Fatherhood Celebration.” Those who want to attend the training can register at the Fatherhood Celebration event at the Wood County Committee on Aging on June 28, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. or email p.nelson@thecocoon.org.
