From BG SAVE OUR NEIGHBORHOODS GROUP
On Saturday, Aug. 29, from 10 a.m. – noon, volunteers will join BG Save Our Neighborhoods Group and People of Engagement Bowling Green for a morning of neighborhood outreach.
The organizations are planning to pair year-round city residents with BGSU student volunteers for this effort. Teams of volunteers will work together to distribute renter resource packets on doors throughout Bowling Green with information from BG SONG, PEBG, the City of Bowling Green, and BGSU Student Legal Services.
Volunteers will meet for a brief training, team up, receive a map and materials for an assigned area, and then head out into the neighborhoods. Those interested in volunteering should contact BG SONG at bowlinggreensong@gmail.com to sign up.
Those not able to participate on Aug. 29 may request materials from BG SONG and complete an assigned route on their own anytime between Aug. 29 and Sept. 4.
