Charles Clement

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Clement, who departed this life on September 8, 2026, at the age of 85. Born on March 14, 1941, Charles was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, cherished by all who knew him. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie (Snyder) Clement, and their three children: Chuck (Christina), Chad (Natalie), and Kelly. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Cassandra (Tom), Devin, Max, Brittney (Chris), Sinjin, Keegan, Rian, Tessa, and Michaela, along with 11 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Nancy (Don) Buehrer.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Alice, as well as his brothers, Paul and Don, and his sister, Nina.

Charles had a long and fulfilling career as a supervisor for the Wood County Highway Department, retiring after over 30 years of dedicated service. He later worked for Speck Sales, delivering tires, and was known as a jack of all trades and a human GPS. A proud veteran, Charles served his country in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1965.

A passionate family man, he cherished spending time with his loved ones, enjoyed fishing, taking day trips, and working on vehicles.

In honor of his memory, contributions may be made to Bridge Hospice.

Visitation for Charles will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026 from 10:00 am until the time of his Celebration of Life service at 12:00 pm at Deck-Hanneman Funeral Home, Bowling Green. Burial will immediately follow at Milton Township Cemetery.
