From WOOD COUNTY DISTRICT PUBLIC LIBRARY
No experience is necessary to be part of the community quilt project. From now until March 31, community members are invited to drop off a 9″ x 9″ finished quilt square at the library.
In early 2027, the squares will be sewn together into several community quilts. To learn more about the quilt details, visit https://www.bgsu.edu/arts-and-sciences/history/threads-of-democracy/community-quilt-project.html.
This event is part of BGSU Department of History’s Threads of Democracy Project, which is supported by a National Endowment for the Arts Big Read grant. Arts Midwest is supporting the implementation of this grant project.
The Wood County District Public Library has a variety of quilt books to inspire people’s creativity.
