From HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF WOOD COUNTY OHIO
Habitat for Humanity of Wood County Ohio invites the community to a volunteer open house on Friday, Oct. 23, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m., at 326 Industrial Pkwy, Suite 1, Bowling Green.
People don’t need construction experience to change lives – just a willingness to help. Attendees can meet the Habitat team, talk with current volunteers, and discover opportunities to put time and talents to work. From building homes and completing critical repairs to helping customers and organizing donations at the Habitat ReStore, there’s a role for everyone. no registration is required.
“Every volunteer makes a difference,” said Gina Skaggs, volunteer coordinator. “Whether you can give a few hours or volunteer regularly, you’re helping local families find strength, stability, and a safe place to call home. We’d love to welcome you to the Habitat family.”
Since becoming an independent nonprofit in 2000, Habitat for Humanity of Wood County Ohio has helped provide 59 homes for local families. In 2026, Habitat is building two homes in Bradner, rehabilitating a home in North Baltimore, and completing eight critical home repairs.
Everyone is invited to stop by the volunteer open house on Oct. 23 and find out how they can help build homes, communities, and hope in Wood County.
