Betty L. Quaintance, 79, of Bowling Green passed away Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, Ohio. She was born on March 15, 1940 to the late James H. & Dolly Ann (Skivellar) Taylor in Dunbridge, Ohio. Betty married William F. Quaintance on March 15, 1958 at the Trinity United Brethren Church in Bowling Green. They were married 58 years until William passed away on June 23, 2016.
Betty is survived by her daughters: Ann Thompson of Bowling Green; & Lin (Craig) Taylor of Dayton; sons: William (Sonya) Quaintace III of Perrysburg; James (Ann Marie) Quaintance of Rochester, MA; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband Betty was preceded in death a sister Joyce Mason; brothers: Lawrence, Leroy, and Donald Taylor.
Betty attended Bowling Green High School and went on to work at Stor-All as an administrative assistant for over 15 years. She loved all animals, was a breeder, and had a kennel specifically licensed for rescues. She was a member of the Village View Church of Christ. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of local Eastern Star for many years.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Betty’s honor may be made to Village View Church of Christ “Carpet Fund”.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on April 16, 2019 at 6:30 PM at the Village View Church of Christ 801 W. Poe Road, Bowling Green, OH 43402.
Inurnment will be private for immediate family at Wood County Memory Gardens.
