Annual breakfast with Santa planned for local children

“Elves on Main," the BG Community Holiday Parade will step off at 10 a.m. Saturday Nov. 20. The parade will also be broadcast live on WTOL-11 with commentary by Jerry Anderson. Holiday festivities will begin Friday, Nov. 19, with the tree lighting outside the Wood County Library followed by a concert by the BGHS Madrigals inside the Wood County Court House atrium at 7:30 p.m.

The Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department along with the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club, and the Wood County Committee on Aging announces its 23^rd Annual “Breakfast with Santa” on Saturday, Dec. 14, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Wood County Senior Center, located at 305 N. Main St.

Participants will enjoy breakfast, story time presented by the library and an arts and crafts activity put together while waiting to sit on Santa’s lap (make sure you bring a camera for this great photo-op).

This is a free program for children ages 5 and under, but you must register in advance with the Bowling Green Parks & Recreation Department, at 419-354-6223, www.bgohio.org/parks. Space is limited so don’t delay.
