The Wood County Sheriff’s Office has released the report on the fatal crash that occurred Dec. 8, on Ohio 25, killing Bowling Green City Councilman Neocles Leontis.
The crash occurred at 6:09 p.m., when Leontis was southbound on Route 25 and reportedly crossed over into a northbound lane. His Ford Fusion hit the left rear of a Honda driven by Vicki Venn, 49, of Bowling Green, then hit the front of a Ford pickup driven by Shawn Feehan, 23, of Bowling Green.
Neocles Leontis, 65, was declared deceased at the scene. His wife, Vassilki Leontis, 61, suffered minor injuries and was taken to Wood County Hospital.
Feehan and his passengers, Samantha Crist, 25, and a 3-year-old, of Bowling Green, suffered minor injuries. They were taken to Toledo Hospital.
Both Neocles Leontis and Feehan were trapped in their vehicles and had to be extricated.
Venn had no apparent injuries.
The injuries stated in the report are based on the initial observations of deputies on the scene. The categories on the accident reports include: fatal, serious, minor or possible injuries.
