Northwood Police have arrested a suspect in the murder of a man last week at a hotel near the corner of Wales and Oregon roads.
Jerron Bryant, 19, was arrested and taken to the Wood County Jail earlier today. He is being held on a $500,000 bond.
On Feb. 5, around 9 p.m., Northwood police officers responded to a call of shots fired at the Bridgepoint Inn and Suites. Officers found Eddie L. Philips II, 37, dead.
Bryant has a court date scheduled for Feb. 18.
According to the Toledo Blade a second suspect, a 15-year-old from Toledo has also been arrested in connection with the case.
