The public is invited to join Cinda Stutzman for a Wildflower Walk as Wintergarden/St. John’s Nature Preserve celebrates National Native Plant Month.
Ohio was one of the first states to declare April as Native Plant Month and paved the way for a nationwide resolution.
The walk is planned for Thursday, April 29, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Enjoy a leisurely walk around the preserve while discussing the diversity of flowers found at the nature preserve and beyond throughout the growing season. Tips and tools to enhance plant identification skills using a smart phone will be explored while on the trail.
