Quirino O. DiPillo, 57, of Rudolph, Ohio passed away Monday November 14, 2022. He was born July 31, 1965 in Toledo, Ohio to Filippo E. DiPillo and Beverly (Benge) Dahmer. He married Beth Haas on July 30, 1994 and she survives in Rudolph.
Quinn had a very dedicated work ethic throughout his entire life that ranged from his own hands on work to supervising and training others to be the best they could be to exceeding customer expectations. While he started as a technician and assistant manager for a Midas Muffler shop he worked up to greater levels of responsibility and supervision. Many will remember him as a very dedicated and tireless Production Supervisor from 1994 through 2002 at the AP Parts Automotive Systems Toledo Manufacturing facilities where eventually promoted up to a Shift Production Superintendent for over 2 years until they closed.
Through his years at AP Parts he demonstrated his knack for providing solutions to the manufacturing problems encountered with new programs and his innate leadership skills working with everyone to complete the most difficult tasks under 3 owners until the facility was closed by Faurecia. Shortly after the closing his technical and personnel talents were challenged by his becoming the Plant Manager for RemTec International in Bowling Green where worked for 2 years until his health required him to retire.
Through his many years of working and supervising personnel he was always acutely aware of the resources around him. He routinely sought to not only utilize those resources for the benefit of the organization, but he worked equally as hard to help the employees around him to excel and become more valuable to the organization also. Quinn was fiercely loyal to anyone who would ask for his help and was willing to learn from his experience and knowledge. He was equally eager to learn from others willing to share their expertise with him so he could improve himself and use it, in turn, to help others become better.
He was an avid Chicago Bears and University of Michigan fan and enjoyed fishing. He loved popping in to Courtney’s Salon and talking with people. He was easy to get along with and filled any room with his presence. Quinn was extremely proud of his family and loved spending time with them.
Along with his wife of 28 years, Beth, Quinn is survived by his children Roberto Q. DiPillo of Rudolph, Ohio and Courtney L. DiPillo of Rudolph, Ohio, his mother Beverly Dahmer of Lakeland, Florida and brother Filippo DiPillo Jr. of Whitehouse, Ohio.
Quinn’s family would like to express their sincere gratitude to all the staff at Advanced Specialty Hospital of Toledo for their incredible work and care.
