A vigil for transgender individuals whose lives were taken by anti-trans violence will be held Sunday, Nov. 20, 6-9 p.m. on Wooster Green in Bowling Green. The vigil commemorates Trans Remembrance Day.
In case of bad weather, the vigil will be moved inside the First Presbyterian Church next to Wooster Green at 126 S. Church St.
The scheduled vigil comes in the wake of the death for five people and the wounding of 18 in a shooting at a Colorado Springs, Colorado, in a LBGTQ nightclub late Saturday night.
