Two Fostoria residents died Saturday in a single vehicle crash in the 15000 block of Ohio 199.
The Wood County Sheriff was called to the scene at 5:34 a.m. Saturday, March 4.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, a single vehicle was headed south when it drove off the east side of the roadway striking a culvert and then a tree.
The occupants of the vehicle Rodney Reiter and Bette Reiter, both of Fostoria, were pronounced dead at the scene.
The sheriff was assisted on the scene by Pemberville Fire and EMS and Howard’s Towing.
Th crash is still under investigation.
