Princess, the 6- to 8-year-old pitbull, was brought to the Wood County Dog Shelter as a stray.
“She is a complete sweetheart with people but needs a home with no other dogs,” Dog Warden Jodi Harding said.
Princess is 90 pounds, fully vaccinated, spayed, heartworm negative, and recently had an entropion surgery to fix her eye.
“She hangs out in our dispatch center at night sometimes and does well with everybody she meets there,” Harding said. “She loves to be with people, seems to be housebroken, and loves to lay with her people.”
The Wood County Dog Shelter is located at 1912 E. Gypsy Lane Road, Bowling Green, phone 419-354-9242.
The adoption fee for all shelter dogs is $89, which includes a $14 Wood County dog license, and $75 vet voucher toward spay/neuter and vaccines if needed. The hours for the shelter are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to noon and 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon. The shelter is closed on Sundays.
