James “Jim” H. Snyder, 74, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away November 23, 2023. He was born May 6, 1949 in Toledo, Ohio to James S. Snyder and Norma (Hahn) Snyder. He married Brenda Caudill on August 4, 1973 and she survives in Bowling Green.
Jim worked as a pollution room supervisor at Modine Manufacturing for 40 years, retiring in 2009. He enjoyed spending time fishing, attending car shows and riding his motorcycle. His greatest joy came from the time he spent with his family.
Along with his wife of 50 years, Brenda, Jim is survived by his children Jenny (Justin) Chagnon of Bowling Green and Jeff (Ashley) Snyder of North Baltimore, Ohio, grandchildren Kendal Wichman, Brayden Wichman, Paige Chagnon, Sienna Snyder and Zane Snyder, sisters Rita (Jay) Friess of Stony Ridge, Ohio, Joanne (Mike) Tomaszewski of Perrysburg, Ohio and Margaret Snyder of Bowling Green and brother Joe (Michelle) Snyder of Walbridge, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings John Snyder and June Canby.
Services for Jim will be private for the family. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dunn Funeral Home in Bowling Green.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Wood County Humane Society.
