The Ohio Department of Transportation has listed the following construction projects, which are anticipated to affect highways in Wood County in the coming weeks. All outlined work is weather permitting.
Interstate 75, between Ohio 582 and Interstate 475, may experience shoulder restrictions during walking litter operations in the area. Please use caution.
I-75, between Buck Road and Monroe Street, in Rossford, Northwood and Toledo, may experience occasional lane restrictions for finish work related to a reconstruction project. Southbound I-75, south of South Avenue, will experience lane restrictions for final surface course application.
I-75, between Ohio 795 and Buck Road, Rossford, will experience lane restrictions for reconstruction of the Lime City Road bridge through summer 2025. Additional restrictions will be announced.
Lime City Road over Interstate 75, Rossford, is reduced to one lane in each direction with a temporary traffic signal. Roadway will close fully for 120 days beginning in June.
Ohio 65, just east and west of/over I-475, will be restricted through the work zone for pipeline maintenance.
Ohio 163, between the north and south legs of Brander Road, under the Ohio Turnpike, will be closed for turnpike construction work through June. Lane restrictions may remain in place through summer following the closure. Contact the Ohio Turnpike for more information.
Route 582, between Ohio 25 and Route 65, will experience lane restrictions for microsurface treatment beginning the week of May 6.
Route 795 at Lime City Road traffic signal upgrade is under way with no current effect to traffic.
Route 795, between I-75 and Ottawa County, will experience lane restrictions for resurfacing through summer. Work is planned to occur primarily overnight, 7 p.m.-7 a.m., weeknights. Short-term ramp closures may be necessary during the project.
