State Rep. Theresa Gavarone, R-Bowling Green, has been appointed to serve on four Ohio House committees.
Earlier this month, Gavarone was appointed to serve as vice chair of the House Health Committee. Following this week’s announcement, she will also be serving on the following committees:
- Education & Career Readiness
- Higher Education & Workforce Development
- Civil Justice
Outside of the House standing committee format, she will also serve on the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review (JCARR), which reviews rules that are proposed or amended by more than 110 agencies to ensure they do not exceed their authority.
