The Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Foundation will hold a raffle fundraiser for the 2024 Bowling Green Community Holiday Parade, which is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 23. Units will step off at approximately 9:50 a.m. with the first unit arriving in Downtown Bowling Green at 10 a.m.
Ohio Logistics, the Bowling Green Chamber of Commerce Foundation, the City of Bowling Green, the City of Bowling Green Fire Division, American Warming & Ventilating, and BG Pedal Company are partnering to offer special parade-viewing experiences for several lucky families or businesses.
Winners will receive front-row seats for friends, family, or coworkers along with complimentary hot chocolate and brunch. Each prize package provides a fun way to experience the BG Holiday Parade.
Raffle entries will be available at http://go.rallyup.com/2024bgholidayparade from through Nov.14, with the winner being randomly selected by RallyUp’s software at noon on Nov. 15. Interested parties can purchase 10 entries for $10, or 25 entries for $20.
The Holiday Parade Experience prize packages are as follows:
- CELEBRATION: Up to 14 people can ride on the BG Pedal Company pedal bike in the Parade. Local-favorite Sue Shank cookies and hot chocolate will be provided, along with festive knit stocking hats for each rider. The name of winners will be displayed on a 6’ x 2’ banner on the pedal bike during the ride down Main Street on the parade route.
- EXECUTIVE SUITE: Up to 8 people can watch the parade from the warmth and comfort of the second-floor City Building breakroom. Participants will enjoy brunch from Beckett’s Burger Bar and a hot cocoa bar.
- FIRST RESPONDERS SPOTLIGHT: Up to five participants can ride in the Holiday Parade in a fire engine with Fire Chief Bill Moorman at the wheel. This experience will start with a light breakfast of bakery treats and hot cocoa when you arrive at the Court Street fire station. Capture this unforgettable day with some photos with Santa too. The winning family name will be displayed on a 4’ x 30” sign on the front of the Fire Engine for all to see as you ride down Main Street on the parade route.
- ROYAL BALCONY: A group of 4-6 can enjoy a great view of the Parade from American Warming and Ventilating’s “Royal Balcony” at the corner of Main and Clough St. Have breakfast with the team of AWV at their family-friendly office party! Donuts and other treats will be provided, and Christmas movies will be played throughout.
In the event that the 2024 BG Holiday Parade is cancelled due to inclement weather, the Holiday Parade Experiences will not be rescheduled. Instead, winners will be invited to redeem their prize packages at the 2025 BG Holiday Parade. The winner of the CELEBRATION prize package will receive a certificate for a rescheduled ride through BG Pedal Company.
