The new accessible boardwalk through the W.W. Knight Nature Preserve, at 29530 White Road, Perrysburg Township, is now open.
The boardwalk was completed thanks to the many hard-working volunteers and staff at Wood County Park District for their dedicated efforts, and to the Country Garden Club of Perrysburg for its grant funding.
The one-third-mile accessible trail through the wet woods is good for birdwatching and wildlife viewing. The boardwalk is open daily from 8 a.m. until 30 minutes past sunset.
