Homer ‘Mac’ McIntyre

Homer Ray McIntyre “Mac”, 90, of Bowling Green, Ohio passed away on July 25, 2023.  He was born on December 6, 1932 to the late Ray and Pearl (Johnson) McIntyre  in Brown, West Virginia.  He married Cheryl “Cher” (Hinkle) Fisher on June 30, 2010.

Mac is survived by his wife Cher, her 3 children and his good buddy Kevin.

Mac served his country in the US Army for 20 years and was awarded the purple heart.  He also worked as a mail carrier for the post office in Bowling Green, was the commander at the AmVets, and delivered the Sentinel. He loved his pet, his “little buddies” especially his dog Miss Paisley.  He had a sweet tooth and liked to eat chocolate.  He enjoyed watching baseball and the Looney Tunes.  Mac was a member of the Eagles, America Legion and the AMVets.

Military Honors will be held at a date to be determined.
