Angels in Arms to host Vetstravaganza and Straight to Hell Bike Run

VETstravaganza hosted by Angels in Arms on Aug. 5

Angels in Arms is hosting its first Vetstravaganza and Straight to Hell Bike Run Saturday, Aug. 5 in the Woodland Mall back parking lot, 1234 N. Main St., Bowling Green.

In addition to the bike run, event activities include kids’ games, a cakewalk, a bake sale, a craft and vendor show, food trucks, auctions/raffles, live music and a car/bike show.

Check-in and registration for the bike run starts at 9 a.m., with a blessing of the bikes and the national anthem at 10:15 a.m. and kickstands up at 10:30 a.m. The cost to participate in the bike run is $22 per person, and the fee to have a car in the car/bike show is $22.

Angels in Arms is a local nonprofit 501(c)3 started by Shamp, a local veteran and the group president. The organization supports local law enforcement, first responders and veterans in need. In the past, Angels in Arms has helped with food drives, holiday assistance, hygiene needs, groceries, car repairs and much more. The event is a fundraiser to allow Angels in Arms to continue their work.
