Anna Louise Witker, age 100, of Bradner, OH passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at her residence. She was born on October 30, 1916 in Luckey, OH to John A. and Louise (Minning) Deuble. On September 14, 1939 she married Louis Witker in Luckey, OH and together they would raise 5 girls. After nearly 60 years of marriage Louis passed away On March 30, 1999. In addition to being a devoted wife, mother, homemaker and helping her husband on the family farm, Anna Louise worked at Beeker’s General Store in Pemberville. A long time member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church she participated in the Women of the Church, Choir, Sunday School, Catechism Classes, Hannah’s Circle, the Friendship Circle, the Ladies Aide and the Quilters. She was a member of the Dairyview Farm Bureau Council, helped with various school functions especially with school band meals.
Anna Louise is survived by her daughters: Cathryn L. Nihiser of Lima, OH, Carolyn L. Koehl of Cincinnati, OH, Ruth M. (Dave) Kinley of Winston Salem, NC, Janet E. Witker of Bradner, OH, and Sarah E. (Lee) Rupert of Napoleon, OH, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren and a sister: Hazel Deuble of Perrysburg, OH. In addition to her husband Louis she was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Stella and Esther Deuble, brother: John Deuble, 3 grandsons, son’s-in-law: Max Beck, Edmund Nihiser and Donald Koehl.
Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 26, 2016 from 2-4 & 6-8 PM at Marsh Funeral Home, 4094 State Route 105, Pemberville, OH. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 11:00 AM from Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 220 Cedar Street, Pemberville, with additional visitation from 10:00 AM until time of services. Officiating will be Rev. Matthew Musteric. Interment will be in Eisenhour Cemetery, Pemberville. A bereavement luncheon will be served at the church immediately following the cemetery committal services. Memorial contributions may be given to: Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Genacross Lutheran Services (Lutheran Homes), Luther Home of Mercy or Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
