The current polls are out, and according to the New York Times, it’s 2016 all over again, with both potential candidates for Potus underwater, and the so-called Majority despising both. What’s worse in several of these polls, is that a good portion of Americans live under the delusional idea that Republicans are somehow better at economics than Democrats! Well, that’s just BS.
Let us once again look at what history has shown us. Every single Republican Administration has repeatedly plunged our nation’s economy into recession after recession, that includes The Almighty Ronnie Reagan. I am also afraid to tell my fellow Ohioans,especially in so-called Trump Country, that the economy during all four years of The Maga King, absolutely stunk, and anyone who wants to keep deluding themselves into believing that Happy Days were here again, seriously needs to give me what they’re drinking, because I lived it and my bank account certainly wasn’t stuffed with money thanks to Mr. Wonderful, DJT!
I think the most hilarious assertion was made By Gov. Sununu of NH, saying that all if this inflation is Biden’s fault, and we should immediately axe Janet Yellen!
Well although I can agree with maybe we need a Greenspan at the helm of the Fed, let me remind Gov. Sununu and the rest of the Trump sycophants, that we would not be here suffering the aftermath of the pandemic, if not for their fearless leader’s stupidity, ignorance, and pathological lying! Had Mr. Maga intelligently addressed the pandemic from day one there would have been no need for a rescue plan, that he blames for the inflation!
Let me also point out, that neither Trump, nor his sycophants gave any alternatives, nor did they attempt to work with their colleagues to address the pandemic at all. They spent most of their time obstructing, obfuscating, attacking, and resisting any attempt to address the pandemic, while at the same time spinning up wild conspiracy theories, and scapegoating the doctors who refused to lie for them, or allow people to die in massive numbers searching for a magic elixir of herd immunity to, as they said,” would create a “Transition To Greatness” from the catastrophe of Covid! It failed!
Once again let me reiterate, if The Grand Ol’ Party of Trump has a plan that does not include fascism, i.e. stripping women of their constitutional rights, committing human rights violations against immigrant children, lying continually and grifting on a massive scale, and attempting to overthrow the government, I’m dying to hear it, because if this country is stupid enough to keep playing the back and forth game of jumping from party to party to fix the country, we’re doomed!
Here’s an idea – how about we form a new party that actually can address the issues, instead of whining and scapegoating each other about who knows best! A million dead Covid victims’ families enquiring minds are dying to know!
