BG attorney argues Speweik will be ‘a fair & impartial judge’

To the Editor:
I have been practicing law in Bowling Green for over 47 years, handling all types of complex legal issues for my clients, from complex litigation to criminal defense and most everything in between. During that time, I have come to know what a vital role judges play in our society. I have also come to learn what makes for a good judge: experience, knowledge, and temperament.
Corey Speweik possesses all of those talents. I have had the pleasure of working with Corey for many years, as a prosecutor, as a civil litigator, and as a Guardian Ad Litem for children.
Through those interactions, I know Corey to have the experience necessary to be a fair judge. I have seen him analyze complex legal issues, handle difficult cases, and have observed his dedication to the law. I have also witnessed his ability to be compassionate toward victims and tough, but fair, on criminals.

I believe him to be qualified and that he would be a fair and impartial judge.
